Celltex are a leading supplier of foam slip membranes that are used in sliding joints where low friction resistance material is required. Typically they are used in bridges and roads, where joints exist.
SLIP MEMBRANES
Description
Celltex Slip Membrane is made from the combination of two layers of dense extruded polyethylene sheet. It is used as a sliding joint between concrete slabs, where load bearing characteristics are present, and low friction resistance is required.
Slip Membranes are produced from an ultra-heavy 250kg/m3 density polyethylene, 2mm in thickness, it is used in sliding joints where low friction resistance material is needed, but a high resistance to load is also required. Normally used in two layers to form a low friction load bearing sliding joint.
